Parade, Wake, and Funeral Announcements for US ARMY Ranger Joey Dimock II Class of 2007 PDF Print E-mail

Arrangements have been made for the celebration of the life of 2007 Warren Township High School graduate Joey Dimock. According to the Department of Defense, Army Spc. Joseph Whiting Dimock II of Grayslake, Ill., was killed when an ammunition inventory exploded in Afghanistan.

Parade of Honor: Faculty, classmates, and friends of Joey Dimock are encouraged to line Route 120 on Saturday, July 17th, from 9:30-10:00 a.m., with flags to pay their respects to Joey as he is escorted to Strang Funeral Home.

Wake: Fellowship and Storytelling will be held Monday, July 19th, at Wildwood Presbyterian Church from 2:00 pm-9:00 pm.

Funeral Service and Internment: The funeral service will be held Tuesday, July 20th, at Wildwood Presbyterian Church at 10:03. Interment will take place one hour following the funeral service at the Highland Memorial Park Cemetery, and all are invited to line the route, as follows: Rt on Gages Lake Rd., Rt on Hunt Club Rd., Rt into Highland Memorial Park Cemetery, Gages Lake, IL.

There will also be a shuttle service provided from the Warren Township Center to the Highland Memorial Park Cemetery. 

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Joey Dimock Memorial Fund c/o Wildwood Presbyterian Church, 18630 W. Old Gages Lake Rd., Grayslake, IL 60030. All donations will be divided between the Wildwood Presbyterian Youth Fellowship and Boy Scout Troop 672.
