Band Camp 2013 information now available
Band Camp is July 22-26 - Every band student (not out of town) is expected to attend.
There will be (2) "pre-camp" rehearsals at O'Plaine:
(please note that in some of the camp information there was a typo referring to July 19. There is no practice on July 19.)

Although the students are your first, best source of information any band booster news or important schedule information will be emailed to the entire band list. Please also visit the District calendar and create your own login there. You will be able to "follow" many different groups within the school (including band) and you can choose to be notified immediately if schedule changes occur. It's a great tool!

If you will miss or be late to any rehearsals or performances (including football games), a PARENT or GUARDIAN must call (847)599-4633 and leave a voicemail at least 48 hours prior to your conflict (the band event that you will be missing). If you have multiple or repeating conflicts you only need to call and leave one message explaining the ongoing nature of the conflicts. You must leave a call-back number so we can reach you with any questions or concerns. No emails to the directors and no students calling in their own conflicts.
The Conflict Policy includes instructions on how to report an event conflict and what qualifies as excused absences. Remember that except for emergencies any expected absences from practices or performances must be reported and approved at least two days prior to the event being missed.
